The film New Delhi was a major break through in the career of the great actor Mammootty. Suresh Gopi has put forward an interest of the film to be remade in this era of malayalam film remakes. He suggest that Mammootty should be there at the top position as he were in the old version. The film was named after the super-duper of Joshy.
